A bit about us
We are Trella, Stephanie, and Kristi- the friendly faces behind Cellar52 in St. Jacobs, along with our passionate and talented team of coordinators, chefs, servers, and crew. It has always been a dream of ours to operate our own event venue, and we promise to provide you with our expertise and advice through every step of your planning process!
We are 3 best friends who love food, wine and travel. These passions are what prompted us to open our first restaurant and start our careers in the hospitality industry. However, even though a restaurant is where we started it won't be where we end!
It was fun and challenging, giving us the perfect background as we began to explore the wedding world. As soon as we were in, we just fell in love with it.
(Yes, we are those people who fell in love with the love of weddings.)
We know your wedding will be one of most important days of your life, which is why it's an honour to be trusted and so closely involved. We want to make it the best day ever because it's your day - not just a wedding. It will never be just a wedding.
We do not take this responsibility lightly and are committed to using our team's experience and attention to detail to curate a day you will never forget. Your guests will be pleased to make a multi-day trip out of your wedding day weekend, exploring what St. Jacobs has to offer. Shopping, the world-renowned Market, patios and restaurants, walking trails, and festivals- there is so much to do while you are here! Just walking the Hallmark-worthy streets will create memorable moments to look back on.
Built in 1852 (hence, Cellar52), our fully-renovated building was once an old lodging hotel. Now, we're the perfect place for you and your guests to celebrate your happily ever after!
