the venue and our features

Cellar 52 - one of the personalities of The Stella Collective - is our flagship venue with everything you could possibly need and more. Spend your whole day with us, getting ready and creating memories. Our in-house coordination team will bring your vision to life after working with you months in advance to understand your dream. Our catering partner and in-house caterer will fuel those dancing feet and will have guests raving about what they tasted for days, weeks, or even years after. The two floors of our venue have ample personal and event spaces for privacy, both wedding parties, hair and make-up, day-of pictures and fun, and personal belongings.

Indoor Ceremonies

We have not one, but two indoor options for ceremonies, both with fireplace + mantle backdrops and black French-style windows.

Riverside Ceremonies

Nestled into the Conestogo River, these ceremonies will have you transported to serenity. The calmness of the riverside, the sounds of nature, and the warm breeze are just the cherry ontop of this backdrop.

Lobby Lounge

Perfect for first look moments, private photos, or the start of your aisle walk to I do. A great place to just be together (before the rest of forever).

The Staircase

Staight down to the lobby lounge, embellished with board and batton walls, carpet runner, and chandeliers. The "I do" jitters tend to kick in here.

The Dining Room

Surrounded by black window sills against pure white walls, dropped with crystal chandeliers, and fit with round tables, silver chivari chairs, and hardwood floors. We've got you covered with live edge head tables and signature chairs too.

The Dance Floor

It's seen a lot of fun- first dances, first kisses, and a whole lost of first moments.

The Town

You can pretty well get away with crossing the road carelessly to snap these shots. A few blocks either way out of our front doors will take you to photo spots you didn't know existed. The bridge over the river, the picturesque town, or the mural walk is just the spot you should venture to.

The Patio

Underneath a sea of string lights, equipped with patio loungers, cruisers tables and a log fire for s'mores. This spot hosts cocktail hours, first dances, and is where your party gets started!

The Suites

Yes, plural. there are suites. You have access all day so get ready on-site at your venue! Upstairs and away from the action your suites await you. Get your hair done, make-up done, suits on, and hang out until it's time to walk down the aisle. Hot tip from past brides and grooms? Play some music and make memories.

The Coach House Bar

This is where your cocktail hour begins! Right off the patio serving up cold draught craft beer, and maybe even your signature welcome cocktail! Throw some bubbly on the champagne wall and watch your guests mingle and get into their wedding night groove. This may also have a wood-fire pizza oven for late-nigth eats!

The Sunroom

For your morning-of, bridesmaid reveals, detail shots, the overflow of famiy and friends waiting patiently for photos... Maybe you need a different space for a brunch break, and to take in the town it overlooks. The Sunroom is the spot for literally, everything and anything you need it for.

Hotel 52

It's there if you need it, out of sight and out of mind if you don't. Hotel 52 is attached to Cellar 52. It is a 5 room, boutique hotel perfect for wedding eve or wedding night shenanigans! Ask our team how to best utilize it!

Gilt Catering Co.

That's right. You heard it here. Gilt Catering is the exclusive caterer of Cellar 52 and The Stella Collective. They serve up nothing but greatness and quality. As we said, guests will rave.

Our wedding day was fantastic - We had a riverside ceremony, cocktail hour on the patio and brunch reception inside the venue. The spaces were decorated beautifully (even with minimal direction). We trusted Cellar 52 to do their thing and they did not disappoint! We originally intended for guests to flow in and out from the patio but it ended up being such a beautiful, warm day that everyone mainly spent time outside. The team was very flexible and made this transition easy. We really appreciated that the team not only set up the decor and helped with tear down.
